Donate to IDP

One billion people worldwide have a disability. They are often among the most marginalized in lower-income settings, and among the least represented in the policy decisions that shape their lives. IDP’s research extends beyond disability to include women and girls, indigenous communities, and other groups whose experiences are too often absent from the data that drives development decisions. IDP exists to ensure their experiences are documented, their voices are heard, and the evidence reaches the people with the power to act.

To sustain this work, IDP has launched a nonprofit arm of the organization dedicated to independent research, advocacy, and knowledge-sharing. Your donation directly supports that mission, including our landmark study When Programs End Overnight: The Impact of the Dismantling of USAID on Persons with Disabilities, documenting the human cost of the USAID dismantling across eight countries.

Behind every data point is a person. Your support ensures their story is told
